My 'Slow Sunday' yoga coming to you in a recorded format for you to enjoy all Summer long. Sound good? I hope so.
This is a very special 'Slow Summer' pre-recorded full-length workshop, that you can practice as many times as you'd like to from your own home. And it's yours to keep for the whole Summer.

The perfect way to look after yourself with some real yoga 'me-time'. Modern life can be busy and stressful, and right now more than ever. So often we find ourselves running on empty with racing minds and exhausted bodies, unaware of how to really switch off. But the reality is that when we are fully rested our body heals, our minds find clarity and our sense of energy and vitality is gently restored.

This two and a half hour "Slow Summer" yoga workshop is gentle yet powerful, an opportunity to slow down, pause, and unwind. We will systematically gently and mindfully move, stretch, breathe and deeply relax. This dedicated time to really pause, de-compress and slow down will allow you to come into your 'parasympathetic nervous system', and dial down your bodys stress response. Hugely important with the information overload, worry, fear and uncertainty going on right now.

A mix of slow flowing gentle yoga, releasing yin yoga. deeply restful restorative yoga and a long guided relaxation called a yoga nidra. Two and a half hours of yoga chill out!

This workshop is my special blend of calming, relaxing and replenishing yoga. Perfect for a Sunday, but also amazing any day of the week too.
Here's whats included for you:
~ Calming breathing practices and centreing and grounding meditation to bring restore balance and calm to the mind
~ Gentle slow-flowing yoga postures to gently move and ease out tension from the body in a connected and mindful way. .
~ Moving onto some Yin Yoga. This is a wonderful practice, done seated or lying down, working on releasing deeper tension through longer held poses and making space in the body.
~ Using the pillows, blankets, books and towels as yoga props we'll experience some gorgeous Restorative Yoga poses, which allow the body to yield and deeply and slowly release. Calming the nervous system, and allowing you to practice deep stillness in body and mind.
~ Ending with a beautiful long deep guided relaxation (called a Yoga Nidra which means 'yogic sleep'). This is a deeply relaxing practice (as the name suggests!) done lying down, that really calms the mind and replenishes you.
The workshop will be sprinkled with beautiful seasonal poetry,

Including summer aromatherapy blends, delicious simple summer recipes to cook to nourish your body, things to celebrate in nature and to forage for through the summer, and a selection of gorgeous summer poetry too. Helping you to nourish all your senses and all of yourself through the season.
~ You'll also receive an extra video showing you how to use things from around your home to create your own simple yet effective restorative yoga props and supports (using pillows, towels, blankets, duvets, cushions etc). From ad-hoc bolster, to blocks and options for eye pillows too.So there's no need for any yoga gear, not even a mat. AND you can even do the practices in your pyjamas if you like too, Bliss!

I have created the workshop in four separate videos, so you can practice one two and half hour long sumptuous workshop by following on the videos, OR you can do the different elements as a shorter practices on their own. So you get to use them in different ways to support you throughout the summer.
