Sunday Rest

Sunday Rest is all about cosiness, softness, calmness and ease. Think blankets, candlelight and soothing aromatherapy scents. Autumn is the perfect time to wind-down, to make time for yourself after the high energy of summer and before the crazyness of the festive season.

This is 4 weeks of rest, relaxation and self-care to book into your diary. Ensuring you are putting yourself first (for once) and you feel less stressed and more grounded.


 

Aimed at:

  • Anyone who needs some calm in their lives and wants to de-stress

  • People who struggle sleeping and unwinding

  • People wanting find calm and find clarity in their mind.

  • This is for all levels of yoga experience - from non at all to expert.

  • People who want to commit to making a change to find some rest for 4 weeks - lets try to set the habit!.

  • Open to anyone. No yoga experience required at all. All ages, men and women warmly welcomed. Anyone who needs to rest & relax.

Because we all need the opportunity to let go of the stress and busyness of modern life for a little while. Come and take time to pause, to resource ourselves so we are more grounded to ensure that we are feeding our own self-care, whilst resting in a beautiful tranquil space together.

Join me for this series of 4 gorgeous Sunday evenings, starting 16th October. Created to calm and nourish you through the autumn transition. To balance out the stresses of modern life and gently shift your body and mind to a more peaceful, calm & grounded place.

Open to everyone who need to rest and relax! All welcomed warmly.


What we'll do:

~ We'll practice simple gentle fluid somatic movement,  that will release tension and stress from the your body.

~ There will be replenishing restorative yoga postures to help the body deeply rest & relax (lying down, all cosy with bolsters and blankets) 

~ Spend time with simple but super effective breathing practices to calm and soothe.

~ Practice simple meditation practices to feel connected and grounded, that you can then use whenever you need to in daily life as I'll send you an email each week of recordings to use

~ ending with a long guided relaxation (yoga nidra) to really let go in your mind.

~ There will also be a restful soundscape and grounding aromatherapy too.  All of the stuff that brings you back to yourself. This is yoga self-care for everyone.


How you’ll feel afterwards:

~ You'll leave feeling more space, ease and freedom in your body and your mind.

~ You'll sleep better and feel less frazzled. 

~ You'll be less stressed, as the practices move you into the relaxation response

~ You'll be supporting your health & wellbeing

~ You’ll feel ready for the week ahead
